Black Rock Desert |

In Late August and early September I traveled to the Black Rock Desert in North Western Nevada. What a great trip that was. If you enjoy perfectly flat areas this is “your” place. VERY VERY flat. |

This is an old military storage bunker. I saw thousands of these off in the distance. They looked interesting so I headed off road to investigate. (Don’t worry mom, I didn’t go in.) |

Oh yes, and let’s not forget Area 51 I had a chance to drive on the Extraterrestrial Highway. This highway passes right by Groom lake and the “spooky” area 51. Better gas up! There are no towns for many miles.
