I originally put together these web pages to chronicle my overland expedition to Guatemala, in a Land Rover. I will be visiting Mayan ruins like the ancient cities of Palenque, Caracol and of course Tikal. As it turns out, that will require further planning. Right now it looks as though that trip is at least a year away.
I have recently completed a drive over the “Black Bear Trail” in Colorado. This trail is a classic 4X4 road from Silverton, CO—Telluride, CO. with beautiful views of 13,000’ peaks and hidden valleys.
This site also contains some fun information on my Land Rover as well as other Land Rovers.
